Apex Shark Expeditions

Our area is famous for the unique breaching (Great white shark hunting behavior) that takes place on Cape fur seals. This can be seen nowhere else in the world on such a frequent basis. We do also offer cage diving on the same trip so it is a great opportunity to see all types of great white shark behavior in one trip.

We cater for a maximum of 12 guests per trip with 3 to 4 crew. We have chosen to work with small groups so that we can give an intimate and educational encounter with the great white shark.

What should I know

The high season is mid April to the middle of September.
*The price is the same for diving and surface viewing
The cage is fixed to the boat and guests are allowed to snorkel in the cage. A diving certification is not necessary. For those with a scuba qualification we do offer cage diving on scuba (hooker system).

All trips depart from Simon’s Town

Morning trip:	Afternoon trip:
Departs 7am and returns 12.30pm weather permitting. This is the trip recommended for all round behavior.	Departs 1pm and returns 5pm weather permitting. Cage diving only.
June, July to 15 August* R1,950.00 p/person	R1500.00 p/person*
April, May, 16th August to end September* R 1,700.00 p/person

For all trips this includes:
- all dive gear (sizes small to XXL are available).
- light lunch, snacks, fruit and refreshments on board.

A return transfer can be organized from Cape Town. The rate is from R300.00 p/person return.

PACKAGES
Minimum stay of 5 days.
The rate is R2,300.00 per person per day sharing.

This is includes:
- Self catering accommodation overlooking False Bay
- Airport pick-up and drop off.
- Daily morning shark trip
- Flights are not included in this package.
